Our framework

Stop. Notice. Act. Plan.

The S.N.A.P. Framework™ is the foundation of how we teach. It gives students tools to slow down, think clearly, and move forward with purpose — academically and personally.

Our framework

The S.N.A.P. Framework™

  1. Stop

Pause and understand the task or situation.

  2. Notice

Identify important information, needs, or challenges.

  3. Act

Choose and apply an appropriate strategy.

  4. Plan

Reflect and decide what to do next.

Students use the framework during academics, communication, problem-solving, and everyday decision-making.

Where students use it

Academics

Before starting a task: what is this asking, what do I already know, what will I try first?

Communication

Listening properly before answering, and noticing how what we say lands with someone else.

Problem-solving

Working out what is actually going on before rushing to the first answer.

Everyday decisions

And when something goes wrong: pause, recognize what happened, make a better choice, plan for next time.

See it in practice

The Saturday Lab is built around the S.N.A.P. Framework™ from start to finish.
