No assessment is required to submit an inquiry. After learning about your child’s needs, we will discuss whether an initial consultation or assessment would be helpful before coaching begins.

Who do you serve?
S.N.A.P. Academy primarily serves elementary students through academic coaching and enrichment. What does S.N.A.P. stand for?
Stop, Notice, Act, Plan. It is the framework students use in academics, communication, problem-solving and everyday decisions.
What do you not provide?
S.N.A.P. Academy provides scheduled academic coaching and enrichment programs. It does not provide clinical treatment, medical care, special education evaluations, or diagnostic services.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Limited financial assistance may be available when funding permits. Please ask — we would rather have the conversation than have you assume the answer is no.

Can you run a workshop for our group?

Registration and payment
How do I enroll my child?
Create an account in the parent portal, complete the registration and student information forms, complete the required safety and emergency forms, and submit the first month’s tuition. You will then receive confirmation and program details by email. We will contact you if anything else is needed.
What if the program is full when I register?
Registration stops at the program’s limit, and no payment is taken for a place that is not available. If a program fills while you are registering, you can join the waitlist for that program. A waitlist is not a reserved place and it is not the same as the interest list for a program that has not opened yet. When a place becomes available we contact families on the waitlist and confirm the place before any payment is taken.
What if my payment fails?
That depends on which payment it is. An initial registration is not complete until the first payment succeeds, so the place is not held. For a later payment on an existing enrollment, we will tell you what happened and how to fix it, and the place is held for five calendar days while you do. A $15 late payment fee applies after that period. Tuition is nonrefundable except where a program is canceled, or a session cannot be rescheduled, in which case families receive a credit or a prorated refund.
Do I have to agree to photographs of my child?
No. During registration you choose “I give permission” or “I do not give permission”. Either answer is fine, and declining does not affect enrollment or how your child takes part. Only students with written permission appear in public media.
Can I withdraw my child?
Yes. Please give written notice at least 15 days before the next billing date. Tuition already paid is nonrefundable.
S.N.A.P. Saturday Lab
Who is the Saturday Lab for?
Students in third and fourth grade.
How can I request tuition information?
Use the Request Tuition Information button, and our team will share current tuition and enrollment details.
When is tuition due?
The first month’s tuition is due during registration and reserves your child’s space. From the second month it is due on the first day of each month. If a payment is unsuccessful we will let you know and you have five calendar days to correct it; after that a $15 late fee applies.
Is an assessment or consultation required before enrolling?
No. Students complete a brief baseline activity during the first session. It is not a pass-or-fail test — it helps us understand where each student is starting from.
What if my child misses a session?
Tuition is not refunded or prorated for absences, and makeup sessions are not guaranteed.
What should my child bring?
A refillable water bottle. Lunch is provided, and we share the meal in advance. If your child has a food allergy or dietary need, please send their own food — we do not prepare separate meals.
Who is teaching?
Saturday Lab is led by Dr. Yanique L. Rolingson and qualified facilitators. Evan Tenorio and Christopher Jeremiah Holden lead the hands-on science activities. Volunteers may assist under supervision.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We notify families by email and text message and try to reschedule. If a session cannot be rescheduled, families receive a credit.
My child has a food allergy. Can you accommodate it?
Please tell us during registration. We share the meal in advance so you can decide whether it suits your child. We do not prepare separate meals, so a student with a food allergy or dietary need should bring their own food. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
